This Savage Short Action Magazine Well is machined from 6061T6 Aluminum and is Hard Black Anodized.  Manufactured to fit using factory "SAVAGE" magazines where the latch is part of the magazine as in picture.  Uses your factory action screws, does not include magazine. This will not fit your Short Action Savage rifle with a plastic stock having the magazine well molded into the stock.  This part is not for the Savage Axis or Edge rifles.
